Gaby understands the many educational models given her wide array of experience working in K-12, PS-8, 6-12, and 9-12 schools and in both co-ed and single sex school environments.
Gaby is a native of Los Angeles, an independent school graduate, and parent who has gone through the admissions process and understands the private school landscape and process from many different perspectives. In her free time, you can find Gaby spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Southern California. Gaby also volunteers her time to the Independent School Alliance and theGabriella Foundation Charter School. Gaby holds an MA in Educational Studies from Loyola Marymount University and a BS in Psychology from Union College, NY.

About Gaby
Gaby is a leading educational consultant who has spent her entire career in the Los Angeles private school admissions world. She began at The Archer School for Girls as Assistant Director of Admissions and sixth grade advisor. Later she held senior admissions roles at Marymount High School, Westside Neighborhood School, and as an interviewer at Crossroads School before founding Gaby Fogelson Consulting.
With experience across a wide range of educational models—including K–12, PS–8, 6–12, and 9–12 schools, as well as both co-ed and single-sex environments—Gaby brings a well-rounded perspective to her work.
Drawing on this extensive experience, Gaby offers a highly personalized and strategic approach, helping each child find their best-fit school. She provides insight into the admissions process, the Los Angeles school landscape, and how to stand out positively throughout the admissions process.
A Los Angeles native, independent school graduate, and parent who has personally navigated the admissions process, she offers clients insight from every angle. Outside of her consulting work, Gaby spends her free time with family and friends. She also volunteers with the Independent School Alliance and Gabriella Foundation Charter School, and is involved in the restoration of her hometown Pacific Palisades.
